My boyfriend, our miniature dachshund, and I are currently looking to move to a a peaceful to properly in Devon/Cornwall. Our dream one day is to own something like a little cabin in a pretty and peaceful area but with good transport links, due to us not driving currently (we are both doing lessons however) We’re naturally drawn to homes with character, warmth, and a quieter way of life but within walking distance to a local town and amenities. We currently are living VERY rural and as much as we love it, we do need a balance.

I work as a primary school teaching assistant and hope to complete my teacher training over the next few years, and my boyfriend is a musician and bartender. Currently both teaching our professions from home whilst we relocate. We’re both calm, caring people who live a very simple lifestyle. When we’re not working we spend most of our time outside with the puppy, that could consist of car-boots, charity shops, exploring towns or lazing/walking the countryside. Again, the balance of both rural and township living is essential.

We’re clean, respectful, easygoing tenants and are looking for somewhere that genuinely feels like home rather than just somewhere to stay temporarily. We absolutely love cosy, characterful spaces and pretty surroundings, and would love to find somewhere where we really fit into the environment and community.
