21-year-old professional starting City role AUG

Hi, I’m Jake, 21, moving to London to start a full-time role at MNI Market News near Tower Hill on 4 August.

I’m looking for a clean, friendly and respectful professional flatshare, ideally from late July or early August. My preferred areas are Canada Water, Bermondsey, London Bridge, Elephant & Castle, Whitechapel, Aldgate East, Bethnal Green, Shoreditch, Mile End, Stepney Green, Highbury & Islington or anywhere with a strong commute into the City.

Ideally I’m looking for:
- Budget around £1,000–£1,200 pcm, with some flexibility for the right place
- Bills included if possible
- Good-sized double room
- Ensuite preferred, but I’m open to a shared bathroom if the flat is clean and well looked after
- Within walking distance of a Tube station
- Around 30 minutes or less to Tower Hill / Bank / Monument
- Walking distance to a gym
- Professional flatmates
- Furnished room with space for a desk

A bit about me: I’m tidy, respectful and easy to live with. I’m sociable and enjoy chatting with housemates, but I’m also very happy doing my own thing and respecting people’s space. I’m into fitness, running, gym, football, self-development and spending time with friends. I’m currently training for a 100km ultra-marathon, so I’m usually quite disciplined during the week.

I’ll be working normal office hours in a sales role, so I’m looking for somewhere calm and clean during the week, but still friendly and relaxed. I’m not looking for a party house, but I’d like to live with people who are up for the occasional drink, meal, gym session or chilled evening.
