Room needed for visiting academic

I am a visiting academic and will be returning home next year. I am looking for a flat share or lodger suite for 3-6 months to cover the period before I leave, so my dates are flexible. My interests include art, writing, and travel, which I do a lot of during weekends and holidays. I have lived in multiple countries and can get along with lots of people, but I prefer a household that's a mix of friendly and independent people.
