Wanted: cheap, short term room

I am looking for a room to rent short term and on a flexible basis, could be 2 months, with the option to extend to 6 as ideal. Potentially more or with the option to come back seasonally for work.

I am in full time work but also finishing my dissertation for a Masters degree in Investigative Psychology (ends August). I’m clean, great with kids, respectful and considerate, bubbly, pet friendly and happy to help around the house or offer help with admin-like tasks, babysitting or household chores etc in exchange for discounted rent.

My family will be moving up north on the 1st of July, however I have unfinished business in the Epsom/Chertsey/Sussex area for work and social commitments so am looking for short-term agreements that can accommodate my commute to work as well as days off, in the house, studying.

Ideally I need somewhere that can offer:
A desk to work at (can be kitchen table if acceptable)
Parking
Washing machine / tumble drier
WiFi / bills included
Wardrobe/storage space for clothes
Single or double bed

I’m a very flexible, go with the flow person who can also adapt to rigid schedules and strict rules.

My work shift patterns vary and could look like me working 8:30am-10:30pm so please be aware that although I will be as quiet as possible when entering and leaving the house, there is the chance that this may cause disruption. I am a very considerate person by nature and will always do my best to work around you as well.

It would be lovely if the potential housemates desire to be social as well. Whether it’s going to the theatre together, doing an escape room, chilling with a movie on, or anything else, I am more than happy to also be sociable and have friendly conversations and days out together.
