Hi! I'm Jakob, a 32-year-old researcher starting a postdoc at the Wellcome Sanger Institute in Hinxton in July 2026. I'm looking for a furnished double room in a shared house or flat, ideally near Cambridge station or the Mill Road area for easy commuting.

I'm easy going, tidy, non-smoker and enjoy cycling, sports, hiking and reading. My girlfriend lives in Germany and might visit once a month. I'm a quiet housemate who enjoys a chat but also respects personal space. Happy to do a video call before moving in as I'm currently still based in Germany.
