Canadian Professional Looking for Flat Share!

Hello! I’m Carolina. I’m a 29-year-old Canadian woman moving to Glasgow in mid-July to work as a postdoc at the University of Glasgow. I’ve lived with two of my best friends for the past decade, both of whom would be happy to vouch for me as a cool flatmate. I’m friendly, clean/tidy, and quiet (definitely not a partier). I’m a pretty chill person and happy to give you your space, but also happy to hang out & go on adventures! In terms of interests, I’m an avid crafter and dancer (both pole and swing); I also love playing video games and watching/reading science fiction (huge Star Trek fan). I am also queer, so looking for queer-friendly roommates.

I would like to live with someone who’s open to being friends and hanging out occasionally (would love to have someone to explore Glasgow/Scotland with me!), but also giving each other space. I don’t have any pets with me, but would be extremely happy to share a place with any and all pets you have! I’m also fine with living with students as long as you’re willing to split the council tax with me.

I would prefer living somewhere either walking distance from the university (e. g. West End) or somewhere easily accessible by transit. My budget is around £1000 total for rent + council tax. Would prefer somewhere already furnished, if possible!

My contract starts at the beginning of August so I’d like to move around July 22nd to get to know the city a little bit before starting work :)
