Looking for a Room in London (late June / July)

Hello! I’m a 33 year-old Australian professional working as a conservator at in a museum in city.

I’m clean, quiet, respectful, and take great care of the places I live. I work a regular schedule, don’t smoke, and spend much of my free time visiting galleries, cafés or relaxing at home.

I’m looking for a calm, friendly household where everyone values privacy, mutual respect and open communication. I’m hoping to find a long-term home where I can settle in and enjoy a comfortable living environment.

I can provide references from previous landlords and employers if required.

A bit about me:
• working professional with 6+ years of professional experience working in museums in Australia, USA, and Norway
• Have been working continuously since I was 18
• Tidy, considerate, and respectful of shared spaces
• Sociable and friendly, while also appreciating personal space and quiet time
• Non-smoker
• Interests include museums, galleries, coffee, cycling, travel, culture, and exploring London

What I'm looking for:

• Double room preferred
• Ensuite or access to bathroom (prefer shared houses with multiple bathrooms).
• Furnished
• Space for a desk/work setup important as I do a lot of professional writing/ extra curricula study and editing
• Calm, clean household (not a party flat)
• Professional or study-focused housemates
• Budget currently of approximately £600–750 pcm including bills, depending on location
• Good transport links to central London

I'm particularly interested in South and South East/West London (Brixton, Streatham, Camberwell, Peckham, Stockwell, Deptford, Lewisham), but I'm open to other areas for the right home.

As I'm relocating from Australia, I don't have a UK-based guarantor. However, I have a secure job, good savings, a strong employment history, and can provide references, proof of income, and proof of funds.
