Young Australian couple looking for place to stay

Hi! My name is Charlotte and my partner's name is Nelson. We've just moved over to the UK from Canberra, where we both worked for the federal public service.

We've moved so that I can get my Masters in Environmental Economics at LSE, and because we have both always wanted to live in an exciting city like London!

We're looking for a small, quiet place to accommodate us while I study. We'd prefer a furnished room in an apartment with other people who already know the place and could give us tips and recs, and I (personally) would love a place with a nice kitchen as I love to cook and bake, a trait which all of my previous roommates have very much appreciated.

We are both friendly and easygoing introverts who naturally keep tidy and won't make much noise, and in fact will probably be too busy exploring London to be around very much for at least a little while!
