Seeking a comfortable home and great housemates

Hi everyone!

I’ve recently moved to Oxford to start a new role as a postdoctoral researcher and am looking for either a room in a friendly house share ( maximum 3 others) or someone interested in teaming up to find a flat together.

A little about me: I’m 31, originally from South Africa, and work in medical research. I’m easy-going, considerate, tidy, and enjoy having a comfortable and relaxed home environment. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places (and getting a little lost), good food, solving puzzles, reading, and spending time with friends. While I’m sociable and enjoy a chat, I also appreciate personal space and quiet time after a busy day.

I’m hoping to find a home with friendly, respectful people where everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Ideally, I’d like to live in Headington, Marston, Cowley, Iffley, Jericho, New Hinksey, or nearby areas with good transport links.

I am ready to move in from 13 June 2026 but am also flexible.
