Seeking room within 20 mins to Charing Cross

About me:
I'm Aaron, a 27 yr-old law student spending a semester in London from August to December as part of my US law programme. My campus sits near Trafalgar Square, so I'm looking for something with a straightforward commute in that direction. Before law school I worked in international affairs, so London feels like a natural fit for what I'm studying and genuinely somewhere I've wanted to spend time.

Day to day I'll mostly be buried in coursework, but I'm sociable and would happily join in if there's something going on in the flat. I tend to stay up late studying so I'm more of a night owl than an early riser.

What I'm looking for in a room:
A furnished double in a shared house or flat, somewhere in the £750-800 PCM range. Bills included or close to it would be ideal. I don't need anything flashy — a decent bed, working area/desk, some storage, WiFi, and a kitchen I can actually use covers most of it. Short lets or rolling month-to-month arrangements work well given my timeline, though I'm happy to discuss whatever suits the house.

Who I'd like to live with:
No smoking inside. No strong preference on background or profession. Students, young professionals, whatever the mix is fine with me. The main things are mutual respect for shared spaces and decent communication when something needs sorting. I'll hold myself to the same standard without needing to be asked.

What to expect living with me
I keep communal areas tidy and expect basic consideration with shared spaces. I'll be out a lot between campus, the library and exploring the city, so I won't be underfoot constantly. Occasional gatherings are completely fine, but a revolving door of noise isn't really my scene. I'm easy to live with, won't bother you, and will always communicate directly if something comes up rather than letting it fester.
