Looking for a room or flatmates in York

Hi, I’m Nye. I’ve just moved to York to start my first job in bioscience. I’m currently in a flat in the centre, but looking for somewhere a bit more homely where I can bed in a bit. I’m easygoing and like to keep things tidy and clean, but not sterile and I like for a place to have charm (plants, posters, trinkets, etc).

It’d be nice if you’re like me and like to socialise a bit, but also like your own space. I’m a bit random with my hobbies and they change all the time, but I love spending time outside in the hills or on the water. I also like to cook (veggie food, sometimes fish) and read books (mostly scifi like Ian Banks). Also, my girlfriend works in Leeds, and I like to spend time with her when our work schedules allow it.
