Looking for short term rental

Hi everyone,

My name is Molly, I'm 25, Irish, and I'm looking for a room to rent in Edinburgh from around 24 July.

I've lived in Edinburgh since 2019 and work as a nurse at the Royal Infirmary. I'm currently travelling around Asia on a six-month sabbatical and will be returning to Edinburgh on 24 July, so I'm looking for somewhere to move into around that time.

I'm ideally looking for a room until sometime in September, as some friends from Ireland are planning to move over and we hope to find a place together. The timing isn't confirmed yet, but I'd be happy to agree a minimum notice period and can provide at least four weeks' notice before moving out.

A little about me:
• Friendly, tidy and respectful of shared spaces
• Pet-friendly (very happy to live with cats or dogs)
• Sociable and easy-going, but also appreciate having my own space and respecting others' privacy
• Working shift patterns as a nurse, so there will often be times when you'll have the flat to yourself

I can provide proof of funds, employer confirmation that my job is waiting for me when I return from sabbatical, previous payslips, and references from former landlords and housemates.

As I'm currently abroad, I won't be able to attend viewings in person before I return, but I'm very happy to arrange a video call and can meet in person once I'm back in Edinburgh.
