PhD Researcher at UCL & National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) Seeking a Friendly Home

Hello,

My name is Sue. I am an engineer and currently undertaking a PhD in Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, conducting research in neurology at University College London (UCL) and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN).

My work is centred on developing innovative research and technologies that can improve the lives of people living with neurological conditions. Supporting others and contributing positively to society are values that guide both my professional and personal life.

I am an easy-going, respectful and considerate person who enjoys living with others from diverse backgrounds. Through my research and professional experience, I have developed a strong understanding of different personalities, communication styles and sensory needs. I value kindness, mutual respect and a peaceful living environment.

After living alone, I have realised that sharing a home would be a much healthier and more positive arrangement for me. I am therefore looking for a welcoming household rather than a studio or self-contained flat. I am ready to move as soon as possible.

ROOM REQUIREMENTS

Essential:
• Double bedroom
• En-suite bathroom
• Double or king-size bed
• Wardrobe and/or chest of drawers
• Space for a relatively large desk
• Comfortable chair suitable for long periods of study and research work
• Quiet environment appropriate for PhD-level research and remote academic work

Flexible:
If the room does not currently include a suitable desk, I am happy to discuss purchasing one myself provided there is enough space available.

BUDGET

RENT including bills, depending on the room size, location and facilities.
