23 year-old professional seeking a long-term stay

Hi there!

I am looking for a room to rent at the earliest opportunity due to having taken a job at fairly short notice in central London. I am 23 years old and will soon graduate from Durham University having studied history. I am originally from Cambridgeshire. I am looking for places with strong transport links to SW1.

I am currently working a 9-5 job in Westminster. I am in the office from Monday to Friday and often stay a bit after 5. I am also a Town Councillor in my home town in Cambridgeshire which means I will be back-and-forth, generally spending weekends and some weekday evenings there.

I like to live in a pleasant environment, so I definitely appreciate cleanliness and tidiness. I will always be respectful of the property. I am quite busy and enjoy my own space but I am always keen to get on well with whomever I live with. I always enjoy pleasant conversations.

I do not smoke and am animal-friendly, so I am easy-going regarding pets etc. I have a strong interest in current affairs and history, and also play guitar as a hobby (though I have no problem if a housemate prefers that I don't play it or limit it to certain times).
