Looking for a peaceful place to call home

I'm a 55-year-old non-smoker looking for a calm, comfortable place to call home for the next 3 –12 months or longer.

I've spent the last few months travelling around the UK in my campervan, which has been a wonderful adventure, but it's also helped me realise that I'm ready for a more settled base. I'm looking for somewhere peaceful, friendly and homely rather than a party house.

I'm clean, considerate and respectful of other people's space. I enjoy hiking, reading, cafés, countryside and coastal walks, and quiet evenings. I previously ran my own business and now have the flexibility to choose where I'd like to put down roots for a while.

Ideally I'd love to live with someone who values a relaxed, tidy home and enjoys a friendly chat now and then, whilst also respecting each other's independence and privacy.

I'm happy to provide references and can pay rent in advance if required.
