PhD student looking for Glasgow room or buddy-up!

Hello! I'm Hannah, a PhD student (plant biology) at Glasgow uni, looking for a flat/share from Jan 2027 for ~1y - ideally West End or city centre.

I'm looking to move in ideally in early January (when I get back from an internship) until December, but can be flexible. My max budget is roughly £750 pcm, lower better if possible.

I'd be looking for somewhere within 40mins safe walk from Glasgow Uni, ideally with good natural light and a washing machine (and dishwasher would be fab!).

I'd be away in the lab roughly 9-6pm weekdays for the first half of the year, then working more from home towards the end of the year as I write up.

About me:

I'm quiet and clean, and would be delighted to live with and help out with pets. Happy to live with anybody - would be ideal to have common interests/hobbies but not critical!

I grew up in Scotland and Australia, and enjoy getting out and about - current hobbies include dancing (salsa & west coast swing), hiking and gardening, but also getting stuck into projects (painting, crochet) in front of a good TV show or film. Keen to bring my collection of houseplants with me too :)
