My name is Jiaying Dan. I am a 23-year-old Chinese female and will soon graduate with a Master's degree from the University of Leeds. I have already secured a full-time job in Manchester and am planning to move there in mid-July.

I am looking for a long-term en-suite room and will be living on my own. Due to my work schedule, I work six days a week and spend most of my daytime at work, so I am usually out of the house for much of the day.

If the rent does not include bills, I would like to clarify my Council Tax situation. I am currently on a Student Visa and therefore exempt from paying Council Tax while my student status remains valid. After my student exemption ends (expected in 2027), I am happy to contribute my fair share of the Council Tax with the household. If bills are included in the rent, please feel free to ignore this point.

A little about myself: I am a quiet, respectful, and fairly introverted person. I value personal space and healthy boundaries and enjoy having a peaceful living environment. On my days off, I usually spend time relaxing in my room rather than going out frequently. I do not host parties and rarely bring visitors home.

That said, I am friendly and would love to get to know my housemates. I hope to find a comfortable home with people who are considerate and easy to get along with, so that we can create a pleasant and positive living atmosphere together.
