PhD Student moving to York in August/September

My name is Fergal, I’m a student moving from Ireland to York to start a PhD in September. Ideally I’d like to move in sometime in August. I’m into travel, film, books, history and science.

I am looking for a studio or a double room (ideally en-suite) in a house with a couple of others. Should be able get to the University on foot or with public transport. I’d prefer a quieter house but would like a friendly vibe in the house too. I can provide a reference from my previous landlord.
