Imperial Postgraduate & Software Engineer

Hi, I'm Mustafa, but everyone calls me Musti. I'm 24 with a bachelor's in Computer Science from a university in Berlin, currently working as a DevOps / platform engineer. This September I'm moving to London to start a one-year master's in Software Engineering at Imperial College London (South Kensington campus), specialising in Machine Learning Engineering. Something I'm genuinely excited about.

I'd describe myself as tidy, easy-going and sociable in the right balance. I like a clean, calm home where people get along and have a good chat, but I also respect everyone's space and quiet time. I'm an open-minded person who's always learning and looking to challenge my own perspective, so I get on well with most people.

Outside of study and work, I spend my time at the gym, watching films and documentaries, reading (usually anything scientific), coding on personal projects, and following football a little too closely. I'll admit upfront I'm a big Real Madrid fan. I also love going out with friends for a good meal and proper conversation.

A few things about how I live, just to be upfront: I'm a non-smoker and looking for a smoke-free home. I genuinely love animals but I'm not comfortable living with pets, so I'm after a pet-free place. Sleep matters a lot to me, so I'd suit a household that isn't centred on late-night parties. I'm happy to be social, just not at 3am on a weeknight. And I like a clean, organised space where everyone cleans up after themselves. Furhtermore, my budget of 1300£ PCM is including all bills.
