Hi there!
My name is Paula, I’m 31 years old and originally from Germany. I work as a project engineer for a German energy company and will be doing an international placement in the UK for five months. That’s why I’m currently looking for accommodation in Medway/ Rochester/ Strood/ Gravesend (the power plant I’ll be working at is located on the Isle of Grain).
I’d love to live in a shared house as it’s a great way to meet people. I really enjoy socialising — cooking together, going out, playing games, or watching events like the World Cup. At the same time, I’m also perfectly happy spending time on my own, doing sports, reading, going for walks, listening to music or travelling. 😊
I’ve been living in shared flats since 2016 in a variety of settings — with anywhere between 2 and 20 people. I lived in Hamburg and Milan during my studies, stayed in shared hostels while travelling (for example in Jordan), and currently live in a flatshare in Düsseldorf with other young professionals. I really enjoy connecting with people and sharing experiences, cultures and hobbies.
My placement in the UK will run from mid July to mid December, so I’m looking for a place for that period.
