Hi! I’m Emma, a student mental health nurse currently finishing my final placement year. I work long 12.5-hour shifts, so I’m often out during the day and generally quite busy. I’ll be qualifying as a registered nurse once I complete my remaining placement hours, likely around Christmas, and have a guaranteed job lined up afterwards.
I’m looking for a home with friendly, respectful, and ideally neurodivergent-friendly housemates. I enjoy socialising both indoors and outdoors, but I also value having my own space to recharge. A bright room with good natural light and a nice view would be a huge bonus.
I’m tidy, considerate, and good at following house rules. I like to help out where I can, although during busy work periods I can occasionally leave things out before getting round to putting them away.
I come with my cat, Coffee, who is a small, one-year-old, all-black indoor cat. She’s spayed, litter trained, very clean, and has a lovely temperament. She mostly enjoys napping somewhere warm and keeping to herself, although she does have occasional bursts of energy and enjoys zooming around the house. Coffee has wobbly cat syndrome, so she needs to remain indoors or only access fully enclosed outdoor spaces, as she’s surprisingly determined to climb and jump despite her balance issues.
I can provide guarantors on request and my parents are very helpful, however I live far from home (Exeter).
I’m looking for a relaxed, welcoming home where everyone respects each other’s space while still being friendly and approachable. If that sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!
