Professional and Rowing Athlete

Hi! I'm Djurre, a 26-year-old Dutch guy 🇳🇱moving to London at the end of July to row for Thames RC and start a new job. I'm looking for a room in Putney or nearby, somewhere I can make a real home, not just a place to sleep.

🚣🏻I row every day, so early mornings are the norm for me and late nights are rare. That said, I genuinely enjoy having people around: good food, a drink, a social evening. 🍻I'm not a monk, I just pick my moments. Think of me as a professional athlete who unfortunately doesn't get paid for it.

💬I'd love to live with people I can actually hang out with, whether that's cooking together, watching the F1 🏎️on a Sunday, or just chatting after work. Rowing connections are always welcome, but honestly it's healthy for me to talk about something else too.

🧽I'm tidy, keep shared spaces clean, and won't leave my stuff everywhere. I like a bit of routine and calm at home. The room size doesn't need to be big. I'm prioritising good housemates ⚡️and a reasonable rent while I get settled in London.

Background: I studied at TU Delft 🤓 and have a master's from Erasmus, so somewhere between sporty and a bit of a tech nerd. Into F1, football⚽️, and whatever's happening in AI and engineering. 👨🏻‍🔧Happy to chat before meeting up.
