Studio/spare room/flatshare wanted in South Wales

Hi,

I am a professional male (working in ecological consulting, based in Newport but working throughout Wales) looking for a place in South Wales, ideally within an hour of Newport due to work.

My personal circumstances have recently changed, and I am looking for a quiet place to rent, ideally in a rural area, or good access to the countryside, ideally with parking. A place near to the coast would be an absolute bonus.

I am tidy, considerate and happy to chip in with running a household/helping out with cleaning/sharing cooking etc.

I am very easy going, and have no preferences over flatmates - having smoked historically I would prefer non-smoking, and I am not a big party goer (I enjoy a pint at the pub, but am unlikely to be hitting the clubs, or even awake much beyond 10pm!) - hence I would prefer a quieter household.

I would be happy to meet up a few times before to ensure that we are both happy.
I do occasionally have to work antisocial hours (early starts/late finishes) but I am very considerate of this, and have years of practice of moving about silently to avoid waking people up!

I do (try to) play guitar, but it isn't a deal breaker if you would rather I kept noise to a minimum.

I am generally pretty quiet and will mostly keep to myself, but I am always happy to chat over a cup of tea, a beer, or over food, and consider myself a good listener. I have been very fortunate to have travelled a fair amount over the years, and I am always happy to tell you a tale or two if you are interested.
