Canadian couple seeking near University of Essex

Hi! We're Dan and Jillesa, a friendly Canadian couple looking for a room to call home from the start of September until just before Christmas. Jillesa is coming to study at the University of Essex for the autumn term, and I'll be alongside her on a sabbatical from work back home, so we're hoping to land somewhere comfortable and settled, ideally close to campus or an easy commute in.

What we're after is our own room with our own bathroom (an en-suite, or a place where we'd have a bathroom to ourselves), furnished, with bills included if possible. We're glad to share a kitchen and living space, and we genuinely like having good housemates around. We're tidy, quiet, respectful of shared space, and sociable without being in your hair.

A bit about us as tenants: non-smokers, no pets, no drama. We've rented the same place for seven years with rent paid on time every single month, and we're happy to provide references and proof of funds. We'll treat your home like our own.
