Mature Postgrad Looking for a Short-Term Room
Hi! I'm a 30-year-old American who'll be moving to Glasgow this autumn for an Erasmus semester as part of my international master's degree, and I'm looking for a friendly, clean, and respectful home to share during my time in the city.
I've been working as a children's librarian in California, which might help paint a picture! I'd like to think of myself as cheerful and warm, sometimes a little goofy, while still enjoying a calm, cozy home environment.
Outside of studying, I love reading (of course) and spending quiet evenings at home, but I'm also really looking forward to exploring Glasgow, discovering new cafés, libraries, museums, and parks, going to concerts, and making the most of my time in the city.
I'm vegetarian, though I'm completely happy living with people who aren't. I'm not a smoker and not a big drinker, and I appreciate a peaceful home where everyone is considerate and can relax. I'd love to live with people who enjoy a chat in the kitchen or the occasional shared meal or movie night, while also respecting each other's space and routines.
I'm conscientious, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces, and I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. I'm hoping to find not just a place to live, but a home with friendly housemates during my semester in Glasgow.
If that sounds like a good fit, I'd love to hear from you!
