I’m Amy-Leigh, I’m 35 years old and I’m a full-time employed Civil Servant. I work hybrid, usually 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, on a usual schedule (often around 8:30-4:30, Monday to Friday).

I spent a few years living in Dartford and working in Central London, however due to some life changes I moved back to Leeds to be closer to my family. I’ve been here almost a couple of years now, and it’s time for me to move back to where I feel most at home!! I’m super excited to relocate and can’t wait to get settled.

I’m a keen reader and will never be far from my book or kindle. I love to travel and explore new places, especially going abroad, but I’m really looking forward to doing that around London too!

I love to go to the gym; I’ve mostly been focusing on swimming but I’m expanding intro strength training and yoga to keep myself active. I’m a huge fan of the theatre and go as often as I can! I also love live music.

I’m looking for a house share with female professionals and would much prefer an en-suite room. I’m very clean and tidy, and considerate of living with others. I really value a peaceful environment to unwind after work, but I would love to live with people who would be happy to have a chat, maybe a cup of tea or occasional glass of wine / dinner together, perhaps watching something together on occasion, whilst also respecting boundaries and the need for space to unwind sometimes. And people to share further interests with is of course not expected, but would be a lovely bonus ☺️

I’m fairly flexible with location, I’m just looking for somewhere that I will feel safe and that isn’t too strenuous a commute to work (Westminster/St James Park). The price I have listed is also preferably including bills but I may have some leeway depending on the circumstances of the room.

As I’m in Leeds at the minute, if there is any opportunity to arrange an introductory video call / video viewing, or a physical viewing that’s enough time in the future (to allow me time to travel - last minute trains are extortionate!) that would be sincerely appreciated.

I have a tenancy on my current flat so ideally I’m looking to move on 1st August (I can pay any necessary fees upfront but this would ultimately prevent me dual paying rent anywhere), but could potentially be flexible for the right place.
