Room for professional moving from NYC to London

Hi! I'm moving to London from NYC in the next couple weeks and am looking for a room in North / North West London, particularly Islington, Angel, Clerkenwell, Bloomsbury, Farringdon. I will be working at an AI firm based in King's Cross, so living close to a tube line would be ideal. Since I'm new to the city, I'm hoping to live around other young professionals close to a socially active area (near restaurants / pubs).
I'd love to live with other outgoing people who would be willing to show me around the city / explore it together, but am open to studio / one-bedroom apartments too. I am tidy and respectful (proof point: I've been living with the same group of people for 5+ years, since my sophomore year in college) and will be working in the office 3-5 days a week. I enjoy working out, running, basketball, golf, drumming, and reading.
