I am self-employed, and if my earnings are below threshold, the rent is paid by UC up to £670pcm — so I never miss a payment (current landlord will attest!)
I spend a lot of time in Whitstable helping to care for my elderly nan, and when I am home I am usually working.
I am pretty tidy myself, but I don't mind other people's mess at all — you would have to really make an effort to beat the levels of messiness I have happily lived alongside (:
