Professional looking for a 1-Bed Flat or Buddy Up

Hi! I’m Laura, a 26-year-old healthcare professional relocating from Aberdeen to start a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner role in Surrey this September.

I’m looking for either:

* A one-bedroom flat, or
* A house share with one or two other professionals.

Ideally, I’m looking in Reading (particularly Caversham, east Reading, or Kennet Island), as I’ll be studying at the University of Reading during my training while also working across Surrey. Easy access to Reading station is a big plus, as my boyfriend lives in London.

* I enjoy coffee shops, exploring new places, watching a good film or TV series, concerts, and the occasional wine night.

I’ll be working a mixture of remote and office-based days, so I’m looking for somewhere comfortable and peaceful to work from home.

I also have one well-behaved indoor cat, so I’m looking for a pet-friendly home. She has a self-cleaning litter box, uses her own scratching posts rather than furniture, and spends most of her day napping or watching the world go by from the window. She’s very clean, quiet and has never caused any damage in previous homes.

My budget is around £1,000 per month.
