LIOP Photography Student Looking A Quite Fur Room

Hello! My name is Brigid Flagerman, and I’m a photographer from Northern California. I'll be in London from early September through the middle of November to attend the London Institute of Photography.

I am looking for a furnished room in a quiet, welcoming home, ideally in or near De Beauvoir Town, Haggerston, or Bethal Green, ideally in a quiet home with character. I would like to live in a welcoming home rather than simple rent a room. A live-in landlady or a small, friendly household world be wonderful.

I’m respectful, tidy and dependable and easy to live with. Home is a place where I enjoy relaxing after a full day, editing photographs, reading, cooking a simple meal or sharing an occasional cup of tea and conversation. I also value quite time and always respect other privacy and routines.

Photography is an exciting new chapter in my life after many years as a landscape professional and lifelong gardener in California. I enjoy walking, museums, neighborhood cafes and experiencing everyday London life rather then simple being a tourist.

I’ve always been drawn to older homes with character and gardens. If your home has a little garden or patio, I’d absolutely enjoy spending time there. And it you ever wanted an extra pair of hands in the garden, I generally enjoy helping – thought there absolutely no expectation.

I am happy sharing a home with dogs but unfortunately, I have a cat allergy.

More than anything, I’m hoping to find a place where I can feel at home while studying photography and experiencing London. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
