Looking for a room in Brighton & Hove

I'm looking for a room in Brighton, preferably a double, or at least one with enough space for my modest collection of books and films. My budget is up to £850 per month (including bills), although anything below that would be greatly appreciated!

I've worked in the cinema industry for the past five years in a stable, full-time job. My shifts vary between 9am–5pm, 2pm–9:45pm and 5pm–midnight, so I like to be upfront that I'll be coming and going at different times. That said, I'm always mindful of the people I live with, keep noise to a minimum, and have never had any issues or complaints. I also make films and write in my spare time.

I've lived in Brighton all my life and really appreciate the city's creative side. I'm a big fan of film, theatre and art, and you'll often find me at the cinema or at home with a film or a book (probably something spooky!). I'm fairly shy when I first meet people, but once I get to know someone I enjoy being social, whether that's chatting over dinner or heading out for a drink. I also value a quiet evening to unwind after work.

I'm a clean, respectful and reliable housemate who values open communication and a relaxed, friendly home. I always wash up after cooking and try to do my bit around the house, whether that's taking the bins out or helping to keep shared spaces tidy.

My ideal move-in date is 1st September, although my current tenancy doesn't end until 23rd September, so I do have some flexibility. With my work schedule, I'd ideally like a little overlap to make moving less stressful, but I'm happy to discuss dates if needed.
