American Grad student Looking for flat & mates

My name is Mary Cecile (I go by Celie) Payne— I'm moving to Edinburgh for graduate school in International Relations and am looking for either a room to sublet or a female roommate/s to look for an apartment for August or September 2026
A little about me: I love chatty walks, reading, cozy Telly nights, picnics, riding and hunting, baking/ cooking for friends, chill pub nights, and am conversational and well mannered. I'l also be bringing my Golden Retriever, Judge. He's my little beautiful gentleman incredibly calm, well-behaved, and everyone who meets him talls in love with him.

I did my undergraduate in New York City and graduated last May and also been married for just over a year, but my husband is a West Point graduate and U. S. Army officer who's deployed to the Middle East this entire year, so it' just be me and Judge while I'm in Edinburgh and my husband can’t visit.

l'a really love to be friends with my roommate, not just share a flat. (I'm very clean but am the eldest of 6 children so know people are different don't hold others to a perfect standard) If you're English or Scottish, that's a bonus! Even though I'm American, l've always felt like my parents raised me well and I fit in with Brits and have a lot of the same interests.
