Mature postgraduate seeking a long-term room

Hi,

My name is Nan, and I’ll be moving to Reading this September to study MSc Real Estate Finance at the University of Reading. I’m looking for a comfortable room for around one year.

Before returning to university, I worked in the real estate industry in China for nearly ten years, mainly in property and asset management. I’m a mature postgraduate student rather than someone coming straight from undergraduate study.

I also rent out my own apartment in China, so I completely understand what landlords look for in a tenant. My longest tenant has lived in my property for almost three years, and we’ve always had a great relationship. I understand how important trust, cleanliness and respect are when sharing a home.

I’m tidy, considerate and have a regular routine. I don’t smoke, don’t have pets and don’t host parties. Most of my free time is spent reading, watching TV series, going for walks or exploring new places around the UK.

Ideally, I’m looking for a furnished ensuite room in a quiet and friendly home with respectful housemates. I would be happy to commit to a long-term tenancy.
