Looking for a room to call home from late Aug

I'm after a room in Edinburgh from the end of August, somewhere I can stay put for a good while.
I'm 30, female, just finished my MSc at the University of Edinburgh and I'm staying on in the city for work. I'm pretty easy to live with. I cook most nights, I clean up after myself, and my evenings are usually quiet ones. I'm friendly and happy to be sociable, but just as mindful of everyone's quiet time.
Budget is around £550 a month, or a bit more if that covers bills. I'm not fussy about the area as long as there's a bus route nearby. Furnished, single or double, either is fine.
I need to move between the 22nd and 28th of August, though I've got a bit of wiggle room. Non-smoker, reliable with rent, and happy to sort references and proof of income whenever you need them.
