Starting a consulting job in September ⭐

Hi! I’m Lydia, 22, and I’m starting a new job in London in September. I’m looking for a room from the beginning of September (flexible with move-in date).

I’ll be commuting into the office 5 days a week, so I’m ideally looking for somewhere with an under 40-minute commute to Fitzrovia (around Warren Street, Euston Square, or nearby). My budget is around £800pcm excluding bills or up to £900pcm including bills.

A bit about me, I’m quite outgoing and like spending my free time out and about. I go on runs, play tennis, enjoy going on walks, finding new cafes, and reading. I also love writing letters, journaling, and playing the flute. At the same time, I really value having a home that feels cosy and comfortable to come back to after work, so I always do my bit to keep shared spaces clean and looked after.

During the week I’ll mostly be working, then fitting in hobbies, the gym, or meeting friends in the evenings. At weekends I’m definitely not an early riser, but I like getting outside, exploring different parts of London, catching up with friends, then resetting for the week with a food shop, meal prep, and cleaning.

I’m looking for a friendly, considerate flat where everyone enjoys a chat but also respects each other’s space. I’d love to get to know my flatmates too, and if it’s your type of thing go on runs and to the gym together. I’m happy to be flexible with any house routines or responsibilities and always do my part to keep things running smoothly.
