Looking for a room in zone 1/2 :)

I’m Jamil — 26, from Manchester and I’m moving to London in September to start my masters in Law before I start my graduate scheme with a law firm in the city. A bit about me:

I’ll be out for classes during the week, and come exam season I’ll be in my academia era. Long story short, I won’t be causing much trouble around the flat. 🫡

I loveee travelling and have spent the past couple of years bouncing between Australia/ NZ, Asia and Central America, so I’m very excited to settle somewhere longer term. I plan on insufferably romanticising London like the Aussies in Clapham do 😍

I’m into strong coffee, rummaging through op shops for vintage treasures, cute wine bars/breweries, sunset-chasing, discovering new restaurants, and collecting friends along the way. I’m also a big reader and a bit of a news/politics enthusiast— I studied International Relations. I’m also into running, weight lifting and (poorly) surfing. Oh, and I’m also gay, so come naturally with style and brunch recommendations!

As a flatmate: easy breezy, tidy, considerate, and never the one leaving mysterious dishes in the sink. I love a shared wine/Netflix night but totally respect people’s need for space — I can read the room very well.

I’ve also lived in plenty of share houses before and can provide glowing references. I want to make friends, but also have a heap of good friends in London already thankfully from doing my undergrad here, so you’re safe from someone who is going to cling to you like baby reindeer 🤠
