Young Couple - New to UK

Hi there! I’m Marcella.

My partner Ben and I are moving to the UK on the Youth Mobility Scheme. We’re looking forward to finding a place for us to be together again as we’ve been doing long-distance for over a year in Canada and Australia. We arrive in mid-July and have accommodation set until 1 August.

We are quiet and respectful roommates. Ben’s interests include sports and history, and I enjoy music and literature. While we don’t have work yet, we are both fiercely hard workers, planning on saving up for the next chapter of our lives together.

We’re hoping to start with a short-term let, to at least get our feet on the ground, but we’re open to longer-term (i. e., 6+ months) if it’s the right fit!

While we’re in the UK, we have plans to explore other parts of Europe, so there will be chunks of time that we are not around.
