PhD student looking for a flat share
Hi! I’m a PhD student at the University of Manchester, and I moved to Manchester last year since I graduated from the University of Cambridge. I’m currently looking to buddy up with someone and find a comfortable place to live.
A bit about me: I’m tidy, considerate and very chill. I usually go into the office around three times a week. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, skiing and classical music, and I am considering buying an electric piano (with headphones, of course!).
I’m looking for a flatmate who is clean, considerate and has a similar approach to living together. I value having my own space and respecting each other’s routines and boundaries, but I’m also happy to meet new people, socialise, and build connections in Manchester. Ideally, we can both focus on our own lives while maintaining a friendly and respectful home environment — and if we get along well and become friends, that would be a cherry on top. I wouldn’t mind having friends over or the occasional party, as long as we agree on it beforehand and are respectful of each other’s space.
I’m hoping to move in around mid-August and would like to find somewhere modern and well-maintained, preferably in or around the city centre, with good facilities and transport links.
My budget is up to around £1,000 pcm including bills, although I’m flexible depending on the property and location. I’d also be open to more affordable options if they are a good fit.
