24 year old MSc Student from Manchester

Hi! I’m Sam, a 24-year-old starting an MSc in Mind, Language and Embodied Cognition at the University of Edinburgh this September. I’m looking for a room in Edinburgh and ideally hoping to find a friendly, sociable house where people enjoy spending time together.

I’m originally from Manchester and recently finished my undergraduate degree in Sociology at Lancaster University. I’m a very curious person and love learning about philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, and the ways we understand the mind. Outside of studying, I’m really into reading, playing guitar, and exploring new ideas.

I like to keep an active lifestyle — I’m planning to get involved with martial arts clubs in Edinburgh (particularly Muay Thai, Judo and Rock Climbing), and I enjoy keeping fit, getting outdoors, and trying new activities. I’m also a very social person and enjoy going for drinks, cooking meals together, exploring the city, and meeting new people, but I’m equally respectful of people’s need for their own space.

I’m looking to live with pleasant, open-minded people who are up for a friendly and relaxed household. I’m tidy, considerate, and easy to get along with, and I’d love to find somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a place to sleep.
