Room Wanted or Buddy Up to Find a Place!!

hi, i’m jemimah! i’m 20 and currently studying english literature and american studies at the university of manchester and i’ll be going into my third and final year. i’m looking for either an existing room or someone to buddy up with and find a place together.

i’m honestly just really looking forward to having my own space and living with someone who’s clean and respectful. i’m a very tidy person and i have no problem doing my share, i just ask that everyone cleans up after themselves too.

i work part-time alongside uni, so i’m usually out quite a bit. i’d say i’m pretty chill and easy to get along with. i love movies (would definitely be up for movie nights), shopping, nature walks, reading and just having a laugh. one thing i’m probably most excited about is having my own kitchen where i can cook and bake whenever i want, and i’d absolutely love to do that with my flatmate too if they’d be up for it! i’m sociable and would love to actually become friends with the person i live with, but i’m also respectful of personal space.

one thing i’d absolutely love is to get a cat in the future, so if you’d be happy living with one that’s definitely a bonus! 🐈

ideally i’m looking for someone who doesn’t smoke. i’m not comfortable living with cigarettes or weed, but vaping isn’t a dealbreaker.
