Looking for room in September

Hiya!

I’m Ana, I’m a recent graduate of the University of Edinburgh moving to London in early September in hopes of a job and change of scenery. I work in hospitality right now full time, and planning to do the same down south until I can find something more permanent. I would ideally like to do community work or something related to social policy!

I’m originally from Chicago, currently on a grad visa. I promise you I’m not an obnoxious American :). I’d love to live with social people, I really like going out and doing things, and hoping to make some friends when I move! I’m respectful of others space and always make sure to keep communal areas clean. I think communication is super important and always happy to have a chat if issues arise.

A wee bit more about me: Hobbies wise I am a DJ. I know I know.. but it’s like a side thing and I also promise I am not obnoxious about this. I mix archival Yiddish and Jewish folk music with techno. I’m part of a collective here in Edinburgh and want to continue playing in London. I am also passionate about community organising. In uni I started an anti-zionist Jewish group that supported the efforts of our Justice for Palestine society. Activism is very important to me and I would love to live with like minded folk.

My budget is low and hopeful 🙏 It would be great if I could find somewhere for £700 or less ppm excluding bills and council tax. Ideally would not want to live with students for council tax reasons unless you want to split it with me.
