Looking for a Room or Buddy Up Accessible to UCL
Paulina, 26, journalist from Mexico moving to London in September to start my MSc at UCL. Ideally looking for a double room in Angel, Islington or nearby, with a budget of around £1,350 pcm.
I've lived in shared houses with both men and women before, and I've always enjoyed it. I'm naturally quite tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and I like everyone feeling comfortable in their own home. I'm always happy to chat over a coffee or share dinner if everyone's around, but I don't expect a built in social life either. I think the best house shares are the ones where people are considerate of each other, communicate openly, and everyone has the space to do their own thing.
Outside of work and studying I spend a lot of time exploring cities, trying new cafés and restaurants, going for runs, training Muay Thai, or planning my next trip. I'm looking for somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a place to rent a room.
I'm hoping to find a friendly, respectful household where people are comfortable living together and look after the place, rather than just sharing a roof. If that sounds like what you're looking for too, I'd love to hear from you!
