Aussie girl seeking furnished 1-month sublet

Hey there! I'm Naomi, a 31-year-old Aussie landing in London on 25 August, looking for a room for about a month (ideally to 24 September, flexible-ish) while I explore the city and find out whether the weather and I can make it work long-term.

Looking for a furnished double room in a friendly share, Zone 1–2 (Clapham, Brixton, Battersea, Shoreditch, Dalston or Angel/Islington preferred), budget up to £1,200 pcm (bills included). Would love somewhere close to a tube/Overground station and within easy reach of bars/restaurants.

My background is in finance and commercial real estate: eight years of rampant capitalism at a global asset manager, followed by a two-year sabbatical to recover from said rampant capitalism, only to come full circle and start my own capital advisory business. The commute is shorter; the boss is worse.

I technically work from home, but I'll do anything to avoid working in the home. Cafés, coworking spaces, shopping-mall food courts, park benches in light rain, park benches in heavy rain, a decommissioned oil rig in the North Sea. And if I do end up working from home, I keep to myself and am largely indistinguishable from the furniture.

I am an enthusiastic conversationalist, outgoing and love meeting new people. I've done a lot of subletting and sharehousing, so I settle in quickly, and I'm a genuinely tidy, clean person.

On the practical side, I'm actually a British citizen, so no visa dramas. But I understand that "self-employed Australian who just landed" isn't the world's most reassuring credit reference, so I'm very happy to pay the full month upfront.
