Postgrad looking for room / buddy ups

Hi! I’m an incoming postgrad student looking for a room in an existing house or to buddy up, ideally in Clifton, Redland, Bishopston, Montpellier, Southville areas. My budget is up to £750 excl. bills and I'm looking for a furnished place.

I’m 27 and moving to Bristol in September to do a masters in History at UoB after 5 years of working in the arts and public sector. My course starts on 14th Sept so ideally looking to have moved before then!

Among other things I love history (of course!), film, reading, going to gigs, board games, and tea (I come with a fab selection of Bird & Blend brews which I’m happy to share with future flatmates!) As I'm new to Bristol I'm looking for alllll the recommendations for cafés/museums/bookstores and I'm always up for exploring together too.

I appreciate my down time and I’m very respectful of others’ privacy, but also up for doing activities together as a flat whether it’s cosy nights in or something in town. I've lived in houseshares before and am really keen to live somewhere with a sense of community. The ideal would be a friendly flatshare where we hang out and cook together occasionally!

I’m happy living with other students or young professionals, though I’m ideally looking to share with other girls / NB folks of a similar age (mid 20s-early 30s).
