Looking for flat share in Edinburgh September 1

Hi! I'm Alicia, I'm moving to Edinburgh at the beginning of September to start a position at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre. I'm looking for a room in a friendly, calm flatshare. Ideally a double room in a well-kept furnished flat, with a tenancy starting early September. I'm easy on location, but somewhere with a reasonable commute toward the ATC / Blackford Hill area and decent transport links would be ideal. Budget is flexible for the right place.

I'd like to live with people who are sociable but also value their own space. Happy to share a meal, a pub trip, or a film night, but equally content to do our own thing on a quiet evening. Working professionals or postgrads would suit me well.

As a flatmate I'm tidy, considerate, and good with shared responsibilities. I clean up after myself and pull my weight on the usual chores and bills without needing to be chased. I've just finished a PhD, so I'm used to communal living and keeping things running smoothly. I play ice hockey so I'm out a couple of evenings a week, and I'm into photography and reading, so I'm generally pretty chill and quiet at home. I'm a straightforward communicator and would rather sort something out before it builds up.
