Looking for a pet-friendly room in London 🐈

Hi everyone!

I’m a postdoctoral researcher at Queen Mary University of London and have recently started my new role. I’m currently based in Sheffield and am looking to move to London around the end of August, although I’m flexible with the exact move-in date. Happy to buddy up in searching.

I need to get to Barbican three days a week and just need somewhere easy to commute but otherwise happy with anywhere in London. (Hoping to be zone 3 and within!)

I’m looking for a pet-friendly room in a friendly house share, ideally with a garden, as I have two lovely cats who will be moving with me. One is 10 years old and old is 14, both very gentle, well-behaved, and have always been indoor companions - they’re a big part of my life!

A little about me: I’m friendly, considerate, tidy, and easygoing. I enjoy reading, films, museums and art exhibitions, exploring London, spending time in parks, and I’m hoping to start doing more exercise and yoga once I’ve settled in. I’m always happy to chat and socialise with housemates, but I also enjoy having my own quiet time, so I’m very respectful of other people’s space and routines.

I’m happy to do my share of the cleaning and household chores and am looking for a relaxed, respectful home where everyone gets along.

My partner may occasionally come to visit, but I’m looking for accommodation for myself. If there happened to be enough space for him to stay from time to time without causing any inconvenience, that would be a bonus.
