2 PhD students looking for 3rd flatmate

Andrea and Noah are looking for a third person to either house-hunt with or join an existing flat in London from September 2026.

• Move-in: September 2026, preferably early to mid-September.
• Location: Ideally within a reasonable bike ride of South Kensington (Imperial) and Holborn (LSE). Ideally, (north of) Paddington/Marylebone or in the Battersea area.
• Looking for: A third person to team up with for house hunting, or a flat we can join as a trio.
• Budget: £1,150–£1,300 per person pcm.

We are looking for someone who’d like to become friends with the people they live with, enjoys cooking and having friends over, or watching something together. We also love talking about what’s happening in the world, but also like to go out every once in a while to have a good time.

More about Noah:
Born and raised in Germany, I have lived in The Netherlands and Italy, but felt at home in London pretty much the moment I arrived. I’m a 2nd-year PhD Student at Imperial Business School studying how system change takes place to (hopefully) make the world sustainable. I meditate daily, hit the gym regularly, especially on stressful days, and be prepared to hear me talking about why doing sauna and taking a cold plunge after is great for your neurochemistry. I’m quite a podcast junkie, recently started my own podcast (5 episodes in), love having deep convos and happiest around good company.

More about Andrea:
Andrea is Italian and moving in from Oxford. He’s also crazy enough to start a PhD at the LSE starting this September, he is working on topics such as fiscal policy, international macroeconomics and intergenerational inequalities. Andrea loves a good stimulating chat after a long day, playing sports (tennis, football, volleyball) and music from time to time, watching some good movies and spending some time outside on weekend nights (that's a must for him!). Coming back home at night, most likely you'll find him cooking and listening to some podcasts.
