Visiting researcher seeking en-suite/studio

Hello! I am a 29-year-old visiting researcher from TU Dresden, Germany, and will be working at the University of Surrey’s James Clerk Maxwell Building.

I am looking for furnished accommodation for the exact period 7 September to 15 December 2026. Ideally, I would like a self-contained studio. I am also happy with an en-suite room in a quiet house or flat shared by no more than three people.

A private bathroom is essential, but I am happy to share the kitchen and other communal areas. I would prefer somewhere within approximately 30 minutes’ walking distance of the University.

I am quiet, tidy, respectful and a non-smoker. I will live alone and spend most weekdays working at the University. My preferred budget is up to £900 per month, ideally including bills and council tax.

I can provide my University invitation, employment confirmation, references, financial documents and UK right-to-rent evidence. A virtual viewing would be very helpful as I am currently based in Germany.
