Seeking friendly queer home

Hello everyone,
My name is Finn (they/he) I’m a 24 year old nonbinary/transmasc looking to move into a sunny & friendly Brighton abode.

I will be moving down from London in September. My current tenancy ends on September 5th but I have a little bit of flexibility around move in date in both directions. My max budget is £800 and my ideal room would be unfurnished.

I spend a lot of time down here already because my partner lives here and I’m working here part time. I was previously living in Sussex for 2 years before moving back to London but I very much would like a slower pace of life again, so I’m looking for somewhere that is quite chilled and peaceful/close to green space.

I have 2 jobs, one in retail and one with an LGBTQ+ charity who are Brighton based, I would ideally like flatmates who are queer but also could go for kind people who are understanding allies. I like to keep common spaces clean (I do have ADHD so my room is a different story) and I really value having flatmates who can communicate well and maybe even into having a cleaning rota, and equally sharing some of the laborious tasks that we all have to do when sharing a space.

My partner lives off of Lewes Road, not far from the co-op, so somewhere within walking distance of her would be ideal- sometimes I will be staying at hers and sometimes she will be staying with me. We are both very easygoing and like to keep to ourselves -she wants me to tell you that she’s very fun-.

Since this is my first time living in Brighton I would like to build some community here and meet people. I am up for having occasional shared meals/ movie nights and would like to hang out as a house sometimes! I am more of a board game night enjoyer than a big partier, not to say that I can’t get down with a party.

I am interested in human rights, sustainability, creativity, crafting and cooking- I would love to grow some food to eat (I started a little balcony herb garden in London which unfortunately died from neglect). I also really like cats, being in nature and I am a theatre person, and will usually talk about whatever musical special interest I have in the current moment!
