We are looking for a double room

We are looking for a double room (available from 15 August at the earliest) in Southampton for a couple arriving in the UK from Poland for work purposes (we are currently still in Poland).

We both have the right to indefinite leave to remain and have lived in Southampton before, so we would like to return to a city we already know well. As we are coming to work, we are looking for a quiet, peaceful house – free from parties, drama, drugs, alcoholism, etc. Ideally, the room would be furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a desk for a laptop (with all bills included). We are a calm, tidy couple who simply want to relax after work and be able to cook meals in peace, which is why we are looking for like-minded housemates.

We prefer houses with as few residents as possible. While we both believe that youth represents the future of this world, we strongly prefer the company of individuals aged 25 and above. Fast home internet is one of our most important criteria for this tenancy. Unfortunately, we also cannot live with cats due to an allergy. Even though this is very sad for us because we love cats very much. All other non-aggressive animals, such as dogs, are more than welcome.

PS: Unfortunately, we also do not make any advance payments before viewing. If we like the room, we would like to move in on the very same day and pay upfront. Please excuse the detailed nature of our expectations, but we simply wish to avoid wasting anyone's time, as well as our own.
